- Go to Applications > Utilities
- Launch Terminal
- Enter the following single line of text command to use Finder to uncover hidden file:
defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles TRUE killall Finder - To hide everything again, you can use the following command:
defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles FALSE killall Finder
